bending space and time
This project is a photographic exploration of liminal spaces—those in-between zones that exist on the edge of function and familiarity. These man-made environments, often empty and overlooked, evoke a strange duality: they feel both unsettling and serene, sterile yet charged with invisible narratives. Obsessed with their quiet presence, I approach these places as if trying to “collect” them—pausing in spaces designed for movement, and finding stillness where time seems suspended.
Through framing, light, and composition, I aim to bend the viewer’s perception of space and time, inviting them to linger in places typically passed through without notice. These images are not just records of architecture or environment—they are emotional cartographies of transience, dislocation, and the quiet poetics of the in-between.
